Born in Baltimore, Maryland; Celia Kibler is a Mom of 5 (2 she gave birth to & 3 she gained from her current marriage of 24 years) and a proud Grandma of 9.

Her childhood included 3 siblings and a Mom and Dad who loved them, however Dad was a yeller with verbal abuse thrown in. There was good and bad; yelling caused a lot of stress and anxiety, music, jokes and fun helped to ease the tension of the house. This was the beginning of what has become a mission to stop parents from yelling at their kids.

Founder of Pumped Up Parenting (2016) and co-founder of Funfit® Family Fitness (1987), her world is kids and especially toddlers. Simply, she absolutely loves this age and has been working with toddlers and their parents for over 30 years; studying their behaviors, brain and emotions, and recognizing the changing parenting patterns over decades of teaching. These changing parenting trends is what led her to become a parenting coach and write this book.

Celia has never lost her inner child; in fact, she has really never found her inner grown-up. Pretty much, she is a child in a really old body, which is why so many of her clients refer to her as the "baby whisperer”. Celia says simply, "Kids and I just connect, no matter where I go."

Her outlook on life includes a lot of laughter, gratitude and always seeing the glass half full. That positivity carries into everything she does and every situation she is in and influences the people around her. She believes learning how to smile when you talk, is one of the biggest gifts you can give and teach to your children.

As a Family Empowerment Coach, Celia's clients have kids of all ages and her methods that she teaches, builds trust and respect regardless of the age of the child.

Celia has real-life parenting experience of almost 40 years (not often found in a lot of parenting coaches), she has lived mostly every experience that a parent can go through and have found successful solutions that make up a lot of her advice and coaching.

On a mission to stop 1,000,000 parents from yelling at their kids, Celia believes that the more you understand what children are made up of and how they think and operate, the less yelling is needed and the more fun and happiness is created. Becoming intentional and learning as much as you can during your parenting journey, will benefit the entire family positively. After all, we are raising adults, not children.
