Imaginary Friend

My sister's friend may or may not have created an "imaginary friend' if you will. This girl she created had over 400 friends on Facebook, and hundreds of facebook pictures, all of which where taken from another girl.


My sister's friend claimed to have been friends with this imaginary girl since kindergarden, said they went on vacations together, ect.

What does this mean psychologically? I'm worried for my sister.
